Talia Leacock is a writer, editor, and voracious reader, she understands the power of words and has made it her mission to use them to touch, teach, and transform people and to help others do the same. At 24, she has gained a range of experience doing just that. She graduated top of her class from York University’s professional writing program where she gained the technical skills of effective writing and the experience of leading the school’s second-largest student publication. Currently, she runs her own blog, while contributing to pauleannareid.com and realbrowngirls.com, two blogs focused on encouraging and equipping millennial women to pursue their passions. She is also a content manager and writer for the New Girl on the Block blog. Additionally, she operates a small editing business that helps clients to untangle their ideas and harness the power of words to tell their stories and speak their truths, on academic, professional and personal levels.
